Portal Team Building

Team building is an excellent opportunity to come together and further develop cooperative skills in an entertaining environment. Our adventures at Portal are structured so that teammates must work together to solve engaging puzzles and follow contextual clues in an immersive setting. Communication and time management are critical to success as the clock counts down to the finish. Portal also provides a comfortable location for management observation. This team building experience will reveal how effectively your teams work together and also showcase the unique talents each individual brings to the experience. These distinctive insights can be beneficial when applied in the workplace.

Private Events and Team Building

We can currently accommodate groups of 6-20 participants at a time. For groups larger than 20, please call 503-747-3195.

If you have more than 10 participants in a group, we can divide you into even teams that will allow for exciting competition between the groups.

Our Undercover Boss perk is available to allow management to observe their teams in action from a comfortable location in our Portal control room or from the Portal Lounge.

Private Events at the Portal Adventures Lounge

Looking for a place to hang out before or after your Portal Escape Room Adventure? At the Portal Lounge you can enjoy a fully themed space, including custom designed props from your favorite Portal Adventures, and escape room inspired cocktails and small bites!

You will also be able to watch other escape room enthusiasts from our lounge as they try to solve the Tomb of the Gods adventure.

    Larger groups can also book themselves using the online booking platform on this page. You'll book one game at a time. Our games hold between 8 and 12 players depending on the game.

  • We’ve designed our rooms to be fun for all ages. However, the puzzles can be quite sophisticated, so a spectrum of ages may be helpful. There is no age requirement, but persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Yes! All of our adventures are offered as private experiences for your team. No mixing and matching of groups.

Tomb of the Gods

  • Within the vast untamed jungle of the Yucatan peninsula lies a network of ancient Aztec ruins. Our cartographers believe they have narrowed down the hidden location of their most sacred burial ground. Within it lies a legendary relic known as the Gilded Skull of Temachtiani. Recovering this skull would be the discovery of the century. However, expeditions have been disappearing in this region since before the Spanish arrived, so we can only speculate on its treacherous condition. Tread carefully and beware… a tomb is no place for the living.

    All bookings are Private, no other groups will be a part of your adventure!

  • This adventure is playable for teams of 4-10 Players.

    Note: Because of the size of the adventure and scale of the puzzles, we recommend a group of at least 6 players.

  • This adventure is moderate in difficulty. All ages and skill levels would enjoy this adventure.

    Note: At least 1 adult must be present for players under 13.

  • This will be a 60 minute adventure.

  • This is the Tomb of the Gods adventure located in Beaverton.

Voyager

  • 13 billion miles away from earth drifts a spacecraft known as Voyager One. You and your crew awaken from an extended cryosleep with a serious case of amnesia and no contact with mission control. With little knowledge of what to do, you and your crew must rely on a number of artificial superintelligent robots for guidance. Like all systems aboard the Voyager, these AIs are showing signs of deterioration. You must work together as a team to survive and track mysterious signals coming from the deepest reaches of interstellar space.

    All bookings are Private, no other groups will be a part of your adventure! We recommend that the majority of a teams players be over the age of 14 This game is non-linear, and requires increased reading comprehension and player independence.

  • This adventure is playable for teams of 5-10 Players.

    Note: Because of the size of the adventure and scale of the puzzles, we recommend a group of at least 6 players.

  • This adventure is harder than the average escape room. Experienced enthusiasts are recommended, but all skill levels would enjoy this adventure.
    We do recommend most players be over the age of 14+ for this adventure as it is very non-linear and requires more reading comprehension.

  • This will be a 60 minute adventure.

  • This is the Voyager adventure located in Beaverton.

The Sunken Ruins

  • Legendary deep sea navigator Edward McClain has recruited you and your crew to assist in his upcoming expedition to the bottom of the Mediterranean. The ocean beckons the brave with the promise of great riches - will you answer its call? Take part in this brand new genre defying adventure with your best team of treasure hunters as you attempt to loot as much as you can before oxygen runs out.

    You have 60 minutes to solve as many puzzles as possible in this adventure. Your score won’t be based on finishing in time. Instead, it will be based on the amount of treasure you’re able to plunder in 60 minutes.

    All bookings are Private, no other groups will be a part of your adventure!

  • This adventure is for teams of 4-10 Players.

    Note: Because of the size of the adventure and scale of the puzzles, we recommend a group of at least 6 players.

  • This adventure is moderate in difficulty. All ages and skill levels would enjoy this adventure.

  • This will be a 60 minute game, 70 total minute experience.

  • This is the Sunken Ruins adventure located in Beaverton.
