Portal Team Building
Team building is an excellent opportunity to come together and further develop cooperative skills in an entertaining environment. Our adventures at Portal are structured so that teammates must work together to solve engaging puzzles and follow contextual clues in an immersive setting. Communication and time management are critical to success as the clock counts down to the finish. Portal also provides a comfortable location for management observation. This team building experience will reveal how effectively your teams work together and also showcase the unique talents each individual brings to the experience. These distinctive insights can be beneficial when applied in the workplace.
Private Events and Team Building
We can accommodate groups of 6-40 participants at a time. For groups larger than 40, please call 541-780-6180.
If you have more than 12 participants in a group, we will divide you into even teams that will allow for exciting competition between the groups.
Our Undercover Boss perk is available to allow management to observe their teams in action from a comfortable location in our Portal control room.

Larger groups can also book themselves using the online booking platform on this page. You'll book one game at a time. Our games hold between 8 and 12 players depending on the game.

We’ve designed our rooms to be fun for all ages. However, the puzzles can be quite sophisticated, so a spectrum of ages may be helpful. There is no age requirement, but persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes! All of our adventures are offered as private experiences for your team. No mixing and matching of groups.

Tomb of the Gods

An ancient Aztec temple has been discovered deep in the jungles of Mexico. Dr. Wolff, a world renowned and beloved archaeologist is leading an expedition to explore the dig site. It’s been a week since our last communication from the team. Something odd is going on in that jungle and we are sending you in to solve the mystery. Find Wolff, but be careful! Who knows what lies inside those ancient and forgotten walls.
All bookings are Private, no other groups will be a part of your adventure!

This is the Tomb of the Gods adventure located in Springfield.
Voyager
-
13 billion miles away from earth drifts a spacecraft known as Voyager One. You and your crew awaken from an extended cryosleep with a serious case of amnesia and no contact with mission control. With little knowledge of what to do, you and your crew must rely on a number of artificial superintelligent robots for guidance. Like all systems aboard the Voyager, these AIs are showing signs of deterioration. You must work together as a team to survive and track mysterious signals coming from the deepest reaches of interstellar space.
Recommended Age: 13+

Note: This adventure does have a split start: Which means your team will be split into two groups for the first ~10 minutes of the adventure. You will all rejoin each other after completing the first set of puzzles. -

This is the Voyager adventure located in Springfield.
Red Scare

The year is 1967, the height of the cold war. The Soviet Union and The United States are competing in an experimental arms race and developing terrifying new weapons. If these weapons should fall into the wrong hands, it could lead to armageddon. You and your team are test subjects in a strictly classified Soviet experiment. Your only objective is to escape the test facility alive! Good luck.
Notes: The Red Scare is our first suspense/thriller adventure, so we recommend it for players over the age of 15 (parental discretion advised). This is also Portal’s first escape room that features live actors (In hazmat suits). The story revolves around players attempting to escape a Soviet BioTech facility during an ensuing zombie outbreak. All bookings are Private.

An uptight Butler, a jealous Classmate and a Science Experiment gone wrong. One of these three characters is responsible for the disappearance of The Son. Investigate the Wine Cellar, Courtyard and Bedroom to find clues as to what might’ve happened.
You and your team of adventurers will be playing the part of detectives in a "Who done it" Clue-style adventure.Portal Mansion Notes: Brand new puzzles and surprises await your team in this massive multi-room/multi-floor adventure! This adventure is part of the Portal Mansion trilogy. Each adventure in the trilogy is 60 minutes in length and can be done in any order. All bookings are Private. No other groups will be a part of your chosen adventure in the mansion!

There are some shared common areas in the Mansion, and you may come across other members of your team working on puzzles in their chosen adventure. Your puzzles, storyline, and adventure specific rooms in the mansion will be completely separate. -

A questionable Psychic, a terrifying Monster and a mind bending Labyrinth. The disappearance of The Daughter has left many experts stumped. Explore the Library, Backyard and Toolshed to piece together the cause of her curious vanishing.
You and your team of adventurers will be playing the part of detectives in a "Who done it" Clue-style adventure.

An obsessive Superfan, a temperamental Artificial Intelligence and a shady Art Dealer. One of these three individuals is responsible for the disappearance of The Mother. Investigate the Theater, Bakery and Ballroom to find out what exactly transpired during that fateful night.
You and your team of adventurers will be playing the part of detectives in a "Who done it" Clue-style adventure.
