Within the vast untamed jungle of the Yucatan peninsula lies a network of ancient Aztec ruins. Our cartographers believe they have narrowed down the hidden location of their most sacred burial ground. Within it lies a legendary relic known as the Gilded Skull of Temachtiani. Recovering this skull would be the discovery of the century. However, expeditions have been disappearing in this region since before the Spanish arrived, so we can only speculate on its treacherous condition. Tread carefully and beware… a tomb is no place for the living.

The Sunken Ruins

Legendary deep sea navigator Edward McClain has recruited you and your crew to assist in his upcoming expedition to the bottom of the Mediterranean. The ocean beckons the brave with the promise of great riches - will you answer its call? Take part in this brand new genre defying adventure with your best team of treasure hunters as you attempt to loot as much as you can before oxygen runs out.
You have 60 minutes to solve as many puzzles as possible in this adventure. Your score won’t be based on finishing in time. Instead, it will be based on the amount of treasure you’re able to plunder in 60 minutes.

Voyager
-
13 billion miles away from earth drifts a spacecraft known as Voyager One. You and your crew awaken from an extended cryosleep with a serious case of amnesia and no contact with mission control. With little knowledge of what to do, you and your crew must rely on a number of artificial superintelligent robots for guidance. Like all systems aboard the Voyager, these AIs are showing signs of deterioration. You must work together as a team to survive and track mysterious signals coming from the deepest reaches of interstellar space.
All bookings are Private, no other groups will be a part of your adventure! We recommend that the majority of a teams players be over the age of 14 This game is non-linear, and requires increased reading comprehension and player independence.

This adventure is harder than the average escape room. Experienced enthusiasts are recommended, but all skill levels would enjoy this adventure.

The Frozen Forest

In the remote and icy wilderness of northern Europe, ancient spirits are disturbed by a malevolent presence. To restore balance to this land, you must solve its mysteries and cleanse all evil. The Frozen Forest will test your ability to manage resources during the day and evade the most lethal predators at night.
All bookings are Private, no other groups will be a part of your adventure! The Frozen Forest is spooky, suspenseful, and unforgettably thrilling. We recommend that the majority of a teams players be over the age of 14.

It is recommended that participants be 14+ years of age for the Actor Version of Frozen Forest. This version of The Frozen Forest is spooky, suspenseful, and unforgettably thrilling.*Difficulty subject to change upon release

You have 80 minutes to find 6 lost relics. You must survive for 5 days and nights and find 6 ancient relics.

We’ve designed our rooms to be fun for all ages. However, the puzzles can be quite sophisticated, so a spectrum of ages may be helpful. There is no age requirement, but persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes! All of our adventures are offered as private experiences for your team. No mixing and matching of groups.

All of the Adventures we’ve built are custom, large scale, fully themed sets with multiple rooms. As a result of this increased size from a typical escape room, the puzzles require a great deal of coordination. The puzzles have also scaled with the size of the adventure, in order to effectively play them we recommend a group of at least 6 players.

About the Portal Adventures Lounge
Looking for a place to hang out before or after your Portal Escape Room Adventure? The Portal Lounge is perfect for birthday parties, corporate events, or team building. At the Portal Lounge you can enjoy an escape room themed lounge, including custom designed props from your favorite Portal Adventures, and escape room inspired cocktails and small bites! We also provide a variety of card and board games to play.
Guests will also be able to watch other escape room enthusiasts from our lounge as they try to solve the Tomb of the Gods adventure.
We are available by reservation only on Friday and Saturday from 4:00PM - 9:00/10:00PM. Please call 503-747-3195 to inquire about additional availability.

About the Escape Rooms at Portal Adventures - Beaverton
What’s an escape room?
Escape Rooms are 60 minute cooperative challenges for friends, families and colleagues. Our escape rooms feature a variety of highly immersive themes that blur the line between reality and fiction. We personally like the term 'Adventures' to best describe our immersive form of Escape Room entertainment.
Each of our Adventures has their own unique storyline, custom set design, and challenges. We've constructed each of our adventures with multiple large rooms to explore with new areas revealing themselves as you progress through your Adventure.
The Adventure you choose will have puzzles that perfectly fit the theme. Depending on the Adventure you choose: You may find yourself stealing ancient treasure, piloting a spaceship, or bringing an outlaw to justice. Teams must complete all necessary puzzles before time runs out, so clever thinking and teamwork are especially vital!
The thrill and excitement of completing a challenging escape room is truly incomparable to any other genre of entertainment. We look forward to hosting you for an Escape Room like no other at Portal Adventures!

Who are we?
We are three brothers, born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. We’re on the adventure of a lifetime to create fully immersive, extravagantly styled escape rooms. Ingenuity combined with determination fuels our passion.
